My internet addiction is getting worse. It's severely hampering my studies. I have three Calculus papers to do on Tuesday and all I've been doing in prep for it is just practice questions. There are still a lot of concepts I'm struggling to understand or have forgotten, and my internet time isn't doing anything to help it. Just today, I discovered a website, and spent 1, maybe 2 hours looking through its contents. I found it really interesting, but it wasted a lot of my time. If you're curious you can find it here.
Even right now, I have my maths book right here beside me, and I'm choosing to write up a blogpost here on this site. My procrastination levels are off the charts. I think it's finally time to admit that I have an internet addiction and that I need to do something about it. I'm always working on this site, looking at other websites, watching videos, and wasting time here. I need to come up with a plan to do something about it.
Let's talk about some other stuff. I found out about a gym that's closer to where I live. I wondered if it would be cheaper to go there instead. But alas, even with a discount, the yearly membership works out far more dear than the student membership at the university gym. Also, from the photos provided, it seems like there are way too many (((smith machines))) and not enough barbells. Pretty dumb if you ask me. If you're a gym-goer, please don't ever use weight machines. I might write something up explaining why, but you can easily search this information up.
I got a summer job! I start in two days. I haven't gotten a roster yet, as this day is just to get me familiar with what I need to do. All I'm doing is shadowing the manager. I'm tempted to buy a notebook to write down all the things I'm required to do, because no doubt there's going to be a lot. I've bought work clothes, and I'm excited to start having an income.
I've re-read some of the past Shenanigans entries here, and holy FUCK they are cringe. Seriously, I feel like I'm reading my diaries from when I was 15. I'll keep them up though, I guess, since it might be cool to see the growth I've achieved since then.
There are a few things I would like to add to this site. I'm thinking of adding a "cool youtube channels" section and explaining what I like about them. I would also like to include some surrealist, rabbit-hole type shit in here, which I described in a previous blog post. As well as this being a place to express myself, I would also like to make this site in such a way that people will never get bored of coming back here. I want it to be informational, to expose people to new material. I've kind of taken a step in that direction with my music page, and some of my links. But I just want there to be more more more on this site. A place where there's always something to do. So I'm probably going to be working on this site for a long time.
Anyway, I think it's pretty epic that people are following my site and that people like it. If you're looking at this, thanks for giving my site a peep.
